Groundfloor: The décor reflects the Ulster cycle of myth and legend. Cú Chulainn and other amazing characters and their feats are told in the wall murals. First-floor: Large kitchen with balcony and dining area to accomodate 8-10. Adjoining large sitting room furnished to a high standard with views of Ballyness Bay. Second-floor: Beautiful open plan gallery floor with two large double beds and one single bed with views over Balyness Bay and Falcarragh beaches. Lighting is ample and soft. A Lounge area adjoins for your comfort, games provided. Clients will be met personally by the owner. 'I like to meet and greet you. Many of my clients are repeat clients. Location: Gortahork is a coastal village with shops, churches, restaurants, outdoor pursuits, pizzaria and internet café all a 1 minute stroll away from the house. Gortahork is just 5 minutes drive from the beach, the Ards Peninsula and Falcarragh and is just 35 minutes by car from bustling Letterkenny. Air access: There are daily Flights from Donegal Airport and Derry International to Glasgow, Dublin and London with Aer Arann and other regional airlines. Driving: From Dublin it is a pleasant 3.5 hour drive. You take the M1 route via Monaghan, Omagh, Lifford and Lettterkenny through to Gortahork. The last part of the drive is really scenic once you take the coastal route from Kilmacrennan as you exit Letterkenny. Amenities close to Guth na Mara include horse riding; beaches; surfing; diving; fishing; golf at Falcarragh and Bunbeg; hill walking and mountain climbing on Mount Errigal, Muckish and the Derryveagh Mountain range. Glenveagh National Park is a 15 minute drive away. This beautiful 14,000 hectare park is home to the largest red deer herd in Ireland and 23 pairs of golden eagles, set amongst a dramatic mountain range around Lough Veagh. There are guided tours of the Castle and a restaurant. You can also visit the Weaver Cottage and have fun at the childrens' play park in Ionad Cois Locha Dunlewey. |

'Note: As a courtesy to neighbours and in keeping with the quiet setting of this beach house, loud partying is not permitted after 11 pm. Please bear this in mind. If you do wish to party on into the night, there are ample night-spots within easy reach. There is a taxi rank nearby and local fares are cheap.
