Killybegs [Na Cealla Beaga - the small monastic cells] is situated in south west Donegal at the mouth of Donegal Bay. The town is a prosperous fishing port and the Killybegs fleet lands over half the catch of the entire Irish fishing fleet.
The Killybegs hinterland includes the Gaeltacht villages of Kilcar, Carrick and Glencolmcille.
Killybegs is also home to the famous hand made Donegal Carpets and the Killybegs Catering College.
